Sean Logan, President
Sean Logan was appointed President of the Monroeville Area Chamber of Commerce in June 2015, after serving as interim-President beginning in November 2014. Mr. Logan also is Executive Director and C.E.O of Visit Monroeville, a position he has held since January 2013. Prior to his appointment as Executive Director / C.E.O., Sean served for many years as the President of the Visit Monroeville Board of Directors. In his current role with MACC and Visit Monroeville, Mr. Logan will continue the process of a management consolidation of both organizations.
Mr. Logan also served as a three-term State Senator representing the 45th Senatorial District in parts of Allegheny and Westmoreland counties. For 10 years, Mr. Logan held leadership positions in the state Senate, including caucus secretary of the Senate Democratic Caucus, minority chairman of the Law and Justice Committee, member of the Appropriations Committee and the vice-chairman of the PHEAA Board of Directors. Before his Senate election in 2000, Mr. Logan served as Mayor of Monroeville.
In June of 2013, Mr. Logan was nominated by Governor Tom Corbett and unanimously confirmed by the Pennsylvania State Senate as a Commissioner on the Pa Turnpike Commission.
Mr. Logan holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Pittsburgh. He is married to Shannon and has two children: Ella Elizabeth and Regan John.
Chris Schnelbach, Vice President, Operations / Controller
Christine Schnelbach was hired as Bookkeeper of the Monroeville Area Chamber of Commerce in February of 2005, and promoted to Office Manager in August of 2007. Mrs. Schnelbach is responsible for maintaining all of the financial records of the Chamber, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and all reporting functions, as well as maintaining the membership database.
Mrs. Schnelbach brings a strong business and networking background with her. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with concentrations in accounting and finance, from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Mrs. Schnelbach worked for eleven years as a National Bank Examiner for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. She then started her own business, Wedding Weavers, a full-service bridal consultation and planning firm, which she owned and operated for six years. During that time, she was deeply involved in several networking organizations, serving as State Coordinator of one, and Speakers' Bureau Chair of another. She also authored major portions of a popular local wedding planner publication. After selling Wedding Weavers, Mrs. Schnelbach worked for a local design firm which specialized in window treatments. In addition to maintaining all accounting and financial records, Mrs. Schnelbach acted as Project Manager for large health care, commercial and hospitality clients, assisting in the design process and implementation of the design.
Jennifer Jeung, Director of Sales and Membership Services
Jennifer Jeung came on board as Director of Membership Services in February 2014. In that role, she works with new and existing members to help maximize their membership experience, as well as finding potential members and sharing the benefits of the Monroeville Area Chamber. In addition, Jennifer helps coordinate events and MACC programs, and she is an active member of the Membership Ambassadors committee.
Before joining the MACC staff, Jennifer was an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner through Mickey Travels LLC and was the owner of Little Friends Daycare. She also is involved in the community, most notably her work with Gateway High School Theatre Guild and various PTO programs.
Jennifer earned her BA in Communications from Seton Hill University and is a graduate of Disney’s College of Knowledge.
