Approximately 50 Monroeville Area Chamber of Commerce members attended a Women in Leadership Luncheon on August 20, 2010 at Tolerico's Restaurant located at 2525 Monroeville Blvd. The sponsors for the luncheon included: Geneva College: Adult and Graduate Studies, Point Pleasant Retirement Community, and PNC Bank.

On July 30, approximately 80 Monroeville Area Chamber of Commerce members attended a Business After Hours at Primanti Brothers located at 3847 Northern Pike in Monroeville. The event sponsor was Wells Fargo Advisors, The Heberle, Helm, Ferguson Group. Mirage Advertising, Inc. also supported the event by providing a sound system.

On Tuesday, August 10, 2010, the Monroeville Area Chamber of Commerce held a Trade Show Success Seminar at the Monroeville Convention Center. The speakers for the seminar included: Todd McDermott with Clayton Kendall, Kathy Svilar with KMS Advertising, Don Darragh with Energy Swing Windows, Ashley Moss with Hello Productions (formerly Moss Marketing and Events), and Jeff Tobe with Coloring Outside the Lines.

 | August 11, 2010 Monthly Luncheon
On Wednesday, August 11, 2010, approximately 50 members of the Monroeville Area Chamber of Commerce gathered together at the Comfort Inn & Conference Center located at 699 Rodi Road in Penn Hills for a ScRaMbLe networking luncheon. The luncheon sponsors included: ChamberChoice, Harbour Assisted Living of Monroeville, and Maiello Brungo & Maiello, LLP.

 | 23rd Annual Golf Classic & Spa Day Retreat
On Friday, June 25, 2010, approximately 90 Monroeville Area Chamber of Commerce members and guests enjoyed a day of relaxation and fun at Chestnut Ridge Golf Resort. In addition to participating in either golfing or spa treatments, attendees also received gifts, prizes, and fabulous food.

 | Staff Appreciation Luncheon
On Wednesday, April 21, 2010, approximately 140 people attended a Staff Appreciation Luncheon at the Edgewood Country Club located at 100 Churchill Road. Attendees were greeted with mocktail drinks and enjoyed the music of a steel drum band and ate a delicious meal. Each guest was given a pair of sunglasses to match the luncheon theme, "Our Future is Bright." Doreen Welsh, former U.S. Airways Flight Attendant and survivor of The "Miracle on the Hudson" was the guest speaker.
The luncheon was created to show appreciation to all administrative, operational, and support staff members.  | 2010 Shred-it Day
On Saturday, April 17, approximately 300 people from the community came to the former Teen Oasis Parking Lot on Rt. 48 in Monroeville to have their documents shredded for free. This event was presented by the Monroeville Area Chamber’s Health & Safety Committee and the confidential document shredding service was provided as a courtesy of the Monroeville Area Chamber and Shred-it, a local business and chamber member. The event was made possible through sponsorship by Monroeville Area Chamber members: Circumspex, eLoop llc, OfficeMax, Servpro of Monroeville, Shred-it, West Penn Hospital – Forbes Regional Campus, and Westinghouse Electric.

On Wednesday, April 14, 2010, Monroeville Area Chamber Members attended a monthly luncheon at the Comfort Inn and Conference Center on Rodi Road in Penn Hills. The guest speaker was Warren King, President of the Better Business Bureau of Western Pennsylvania. Mr. King shared insights on how to protect your business against fraud and how to separate your business from the competition by operating under the highest degree of integrity.
