Do you want to go Diamond hunting in Monroeville? You don’t have to go any further than 2750 Mosside Blvd. to find a 3 Diamond AAA-rated gem. “The Holiday Inn Monroeville staff is ready to serve and treat you to all of the comforts and amenities you want and need when you’re away from home or the office,” says Mike Hayden Corporate Sales Manager. “We are professionals dedicated to the art of hospitality, creating memorable experiences one guest at a time.”

The Holiday Inn is a full service hotel featuring 187 spacious guest rooms that opened its doors to travelers and guests in 1968. In 2005 the hotel underwent a total renovation of the guest rooms, lobby, pool and patio area and the fitness and business centers. “Our hotel is not only the perfect place for vacationers and business travelers because of its convenient location right off I-376 and the PA Turnpike, but also the ideal location to host a family reunion or a wedding.”

Of course Mike wants all MACC members to know that the Holiday Inn is also the ‘perfect place’ to host business meetings and luncheons. “We have 11 versatile conference rooms that can accommodate up to 300 people with theater style seating; 125 for classroom seating and 175 for a banquet.” Madison’s Restaurant and Lounge is also the perfect place to enjoy a great breakfast, lunch or dinner or to meet friends or business associates to relax with a cocktail at the end of the day. “By the way, did you notice our brand new sign and logo make-over? It’s a clear signal that the hotel has completed significant changes both inside and out.”

A 1995 graduate of Robert Morris University, Mike began his career in Hotel Management with the Airport Ramada. He joined the staff of the Monroeville
Radisson in 1996 and stayed there for there for the next eight years. Since 2004, the Holiday Inn has benefited from Mike’s talents and sales management expertise. According to Mike, “If you really want to grow your business, being part of the Chamber is key. But more importantly, you also must attend the events to meet the people and get to know the new faces.” One of the best and most beneficial events that Mike likes to participate in is the MACC Scramble luncheon. “Moving from table to table is fun, but more importantly, it’s a great way to really get to know the people and the businesses that they represent.”

According to Mike, a great lead for him is anyone who is “sleepy, hungry or thirsty!” Mike would love to talk with you about having your next business or family event at the Holiday Inn – it is after all a Monroeville gem! Give Mike a call at 412-372-1022, he would be happy to show you his hotel. Or visit the Holiday Inn on the web at: www.holidayinn.com/monroeville.
