With an ever increasing number of local and global competitors, building strong business relationships is more important that ever before. The Chamber provides a wide range of both structured and relaxed networking opportunities to help foster lasting and prosperous business relationships. Whether you prefer to network in the early morning, at mid-day or after hours, MACC offers an event to meet your busy schedule. Admission to most events is FREE as part of your membership or covered by a nominal charge.

Make a Splash Through Advertising and Promotion

The Chamber provides a variety of opportunities for members to market their products and services to other members and to the community at large. These promotional outlets include our monthly newsletter, access to mailing lists, event sponsorship, business trade shows, seminars, email blasts, our annual membership directory and our website. Advertising outlets are open only to members and is one of the quickest, most inexpensive and effective ways to reach our local business community.

 

The Monroeville Area Chamber of Commerce Website and Interactive Touch Screen Kiosks at the Monroeville Convention Center

Chamber members will not only have their companies listed on the MACC website, but they can also update their business profile by posting information about their company on the site, including photos, logos, and coupons.  The business profiles on the MACC website link directly to interactive kiosks.  The kiosks are interactive touch screen computers that have been placed in the Monroeville Convention Center where over 500,000 people visit each year.  The kiosks allow users to find things in the area, such as restaurants or lodging or other local businesses at their fingertips.

Access To Group Health Care, Employee Benefits, and Cost Savings

Unlike many other plans on the market, coverage through ChamberChoice is available only to Chamber members and their employees regardless of medical history or occupation. Member To Member Discounts

MACC provides each member with a list of valuable member to member discounts on a variety of products and services. Each employee at your company or organization is welcomed and encouraged to take full advantage of these discounts.

 

 

Office Depot Chamber Advantage Program

This program is offered to MACC members at no-cost and provides deep discounts on office products purchased through Office Depot.  The Office Depot Chamber Advantage program allows for in-store shopping at below store pricing or internet and toll free phone ordering with free delivery on qualified purchases.

Discount savings of over 50% is available on a core list of the most commonly used products.  Most other products (from furniture to techno gadgets) carry an additional 10% discount off of Office Depot’s every day low pricing.  In addition, members who participate in The Office Depot Chamber Advantage program can secure customized discount pricing on the unique products your company uses most, if they’re not already included in the core listing.

Conference Room Usage

Members have access to three meeting rooms to host seminars, training programs, or client meetings. A thirty five (35) person training room comes equip with “smart board” projection system, WIFI access and conference phone. Two smaller conference rooms each seat eight (8) people and offer flat screen television monitors with build in DVD player and wall mounted white boards.  All room rentals include free coffee service and access to on-site catering. 

Our meeting rooms present first floor handicapped accessibility, plentiful parking, and convenient (walking distance) access to nearby hotels and restaurants.  Situated less than one half mile from exit 57 of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, our facility is just a breath away from the intersection of Routes 22 and 48 at 2790 Mosside Boulevard in Monroeville. 

Full day, half day, and hourly rental rates are available.  After hours and Saturday rentals are possible with advanced notice.  Discount rates apply for members of the Monroeville Area Chamber of Commerce and current building tenants.  We look forward to hosting your next successful and productive business gathering.  [Click for more information.]


Committee Membership

The Chamber offers several active committees to address specific topics important to local businesses and the community at large. Members (or their designee) may join a committee at any time. Committees range from community outreach to event planning. The Chamber staff or committee chair will be happy to help you select a committee that’s right for you or answer any questions you might have.

Under the guidance of its Board of Directors and Government and Community Affairs Committee, the Chamber takes a position on important economic development projects and the issues impacting the local, state and national business environment. We advocate on your behalf for the passage of business-friendly and community-smart legislation.

Through the Chamber’s affiliation with organizations like the Service Corp of Retired Executives (SCORE®) and the Small Business Administration, we are able to help you develop your business as it grows. In addition, MACC offers a variety of member workshops on subjects like finance, marketing, information technology, human resources, customer service and more.
