Faith in God and a strong moral character is often the cornerstone of any successful community. Monroeville is proud to have an active religious community, characterized by diversity and tolerance, evident in the range of spiritual outlets available. Many faiths are represented in over 25 houses of worship, which not only meet the citizens’ spiritual needs, but also work to encourage interfaith dialogue, and coordinate direct community efforts. Service organizations such as Rotary International, The American Red Cross and many others also work to improve the community and bring citizens together regardless of background.
